حَدَّثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْيَمَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ صَاحِبُ الدَّقِيقِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، يَقُولُ:

رَأَيْتُ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ كَأَنِّي تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ، وَكَأَنَّ الشَّجَرَةَ تَقْرَأُ ص. فَلَمَّا أَتَتْ عَلَى السَّجْدَةِ سَجَدَتْ، فَقَالَتْ فِي سُجُودِهَا: " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي بِهَا، اللَّهُمَّ حُطَّ عَنِّي بِهَا وِزْرًا، وَأَحْدِثْ لِي بِهَا شُكْرًا، وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوُدَ سَجْدَتَهُ ". فَغَدَوْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: سَجَدْتَ أَنْتَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ؟ " قُلْتُ: لَا. قَالَ: " فَأَنْتَ أَحَقُّ بِالسُّجُودِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَةِ. ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سُورَةَ ص، ثُمَّ أَتَى عَلَى السَّجْدَةِ، وَقَالَ فِي سُجُودِهِ مَا قَالَتِ الشَّجَرَةُ فِي سُجُودِهَا

✧ I saw in what a sleeper sees as if I were under a tree, and as if the tree were reciting Sad. When it reached the prostration, it prostrated, and said in its prostration: 'O Allah, forgive me by it; O Allah, remove from me by it a burden, and grant me by it gratitude, and accept it from me as You accepted from Your servant Dawud his prostration.' I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him, and he said: 'You prostrated, O Abu Sa'id?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'You are more entitled to the prostration than the tree.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited Surah Sad, then he came to the prostration, and said in his prostration what the tree said in its prostration.
