Leaving The Masjid After The Adhan

Show the chain

What scholars said about it

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.

machine translationThe aḥādīth of Ibrāhīm b. Muhājir are acceptable (ṣāliḥah); some of them support others, and his ḥadīth is to be written down among the weak narrators (ḍuʿafāʾ).

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationIt was narrated by Ashʿath b. Abī al-Shaʿthāʾ, Abū Ṣakhrah Jāmiʿ b. Shaddād, and Ibrāhīm b. Muhājir, from Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ. There is disagreement about Ibrāhīm b. Muhājir: al-Thawrī, Raqabah b. Maṣqalah, Sharīk, ʿAmr b. Abī Qays, ʿAmr b. Qays al-Mulāʾī, Ḥakīm b. Yazīd and Saʿd narrated it from Ibrāhīm b. Muhājir, from Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ, from Abū Hurayrah. Isrāʾīl contradicted them, in the narration of ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsā from him: he narrated it from Ibrāhīm b. Muhājir, from al-Aswad b. Hilāl, from Abū Hurayrah. The correct one is from Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ. Al-Shaybānī also narrated it from Ḥabīb b. Abī Thābit, and there is disagreement about him: it was said, from Abū Muʿāwiyah, from al-Shaybānī, from Ḥabīb b. Abī Thābit, from Abū Hurayrah, as a disconnected report (mursal). Another said, from al-Shaybānī, from Ḥabīb, from Sulaym, from Abū Hurayrah. If this narrator memorized it, then he has come with the correct version, because Sulaym is Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ.

  • al-Albani

machine translationHe (Abū Dāwūd) remained silent about it [and he said in his letter to the people of Mecca: everything I have remained silent about is acceptable (ṣāliḥ)].
