حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَبُو خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَجَلُهُ فَقَالَ عِنْدَهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ إِلاَّ عَافَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْمَرَضِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone visits a sick whose time (of death) has not come, and says with him seven times: I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the mighty Throne, to cure you, Allah will cure him from that disease.

machine translationI asked my father about a hadith narrated by Abū Khālid al-Dālānī from al-Minhāl b. ʿAmr, from Saʿīd b. Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās. This hadith was also narrated by Aḥmad b. Ṣāliḥ from Ibn Wahb, from ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith, from ʿAbd Rabbih b. Saʿīd, from al-Minhāl b. ʿAmr, from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith, and sometimes he said: from Saʿīd b. Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās. My father said: The hadith of Saʿīd is more authentic in my view.
