  • Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī

machine translationThis is an error. It is only Yūnus b. ʿUbayd, from ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Abū Zurʿah b. ʿAmr b. Jarīr, from Jarīr, from the Prophet ﷺ.

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationYūnus b. ʿUbayd narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Muṣʿab b. al-Miqdām narrated it from al-Thawrī, from Yūnus, from al-Ḥasan, from Jarīr. Others narrate it from al-Thawrī, from Yūnus, from ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Abū Zurʿah b. ʿAmr b. Jarīr, from Jarīr, and this is the correct one. Likewise it was narrated by Khālid b. ʿAbdullāh al-Wāsiṭī, Hushaym, Ibn ʿUlayyah, Yazīd b. Zurayʿ, Muʿtamir and others, from Yūnus, from ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Abū Zurʿah, from Jarīr. Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd al-Hamdānī differed from them: he narrated it from al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from al-Thawrī, from Abū Isḥāq, from ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Abū Zurʿah, from Jarīr, and he erred in saying "from Abū Isḥāq". Ibrāhīm b. Harāsah said, from al-Thawrī, from Ismāʿīl, from Qays b. Abī Ḥāzim, from Jarīr, and he also erred in it. The correct one is the hadith of al-Thawrī and those who followed him, from Yūnus b. ʿUbayd, from ʿAmr b. Saʿīd, from Abū Zurʿah, from Jarīr.
