Performing The Ifrad Hajj

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا قَالَ

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ بِبَعْضِ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ ثُمَّ حُجِّي وَاصْنَعِي مَا يَصْنَعُ الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنْ لاَ تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ وَلاَ تُصَلِّي

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal
  2. Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd
  3. Ibn Jurayj
  4. Abū al-Zubayr
  5. Jābir

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Jabir through a different chain of narrators. This version has The Prophet ﷺ said “Raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj and then perform Hajj, and do so all the pilgrims do, except that you should not circumambulate the Hose(the Ka’bah) and should not pray.
