✧ The inheritance of the Magian

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ
فِي نَصْرَانِيٍّ مَاتَ وَامْرَأَتُهُ حُبْلَى، ثُمَّ أَسْلَمَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَلِدَ، ثُمَّ وَلَدَتْ فَمَاتَتْ قَالَ: " يَرِثُهُمَا وَلَدُهُمَا جَمِيعًا؛ لِأَنَّهُ وَقَعَ لَهُ مِيرَاثُ أَبِيهِ حِينَ مَاتَ أَبُوهُ، ثُمَّ مَاتَتْ أُمُّهُ فَاتَّبَعَهَا عَلَى دِينِهَا فَوَرِثَهَا
Translation
✧ Regarding a Christian who dies while his wife is pregnant, then she embraces Islam before giving birth, then she gives birth and dies. He said: "Their child inherits from both of them together, because he acquired the inheritance of his father when his father died, and then his mother died, so he followed her in her religion and inherited from her."
