✧ The people of two religions do not inherit from each other

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:

لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْيَهُودِيَّ وَلَا النَّصْرَانِيَّ، وَلَا يَرِثُهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ عَبْدَ رَجُلٍ أَوْ أَمَتَهُ

Translation

✧ A Muslim does not inherit from a Jew or a Christian, nor does he inherit from them, unless it is the slave of a man or his female slave.
