✧ The letter to the polytheists

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،
أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الدَّهَاقِينِ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " كَذَبْتَ فِي ذَلِكَ، إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ السَّلَامُ "
Translation
✧ He wrote to a man from the dihqans greeting him, and he said to him, "You have lied in that. Indeed Allah is As-Salam (the Source of Peace)."
