أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُجَاهِدًا، قَالَ: كَيْفَ أَكْتُبُ إِلَى الدِّهْقَانِ ؟ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: " اكْتُبِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ "، وَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ: " اكْتُبِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَى "
Translation
✧ I asked Ibrahim and Mujahid: How should I write to the dihqan? Ibrahim said, "Write: Peace be upon you." Mujahid said, "Write: Peace be upon whoever follows guidance."
