✧ What is obligatory upon one who embraces Islam

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الْإِسْلَامَ، فَأَسْلَمْتُ، فَأَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، فَاغْتَسَلْتُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ
Translation
✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ while I wanted to embrace Islam, so I embraced Islam. The Prophet ﷺ then ordered me to perform ghusl with water and lote-tree leaves, so I performed ghusl with water and lote-tree leaves.
