✧ The pledge of allegiance to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِي، فَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَيَّ النُّصْحَ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ، فَإِنِّي لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ
Translation
✧ I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my hand, and he stipulated upon me sincerity to every Muslim, for indeed I am sincere to you.
