✧ What Came Concerning the Digging of Zamzam

قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فُرِضَتْ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَوَاتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ خَمْسِينَ، ثُمَّ نَقَصَتْ إِلَى خَمْسٍ، ثُمَّ نُودِيَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ ﴿مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ ﴾وَإِنَّ لَكَ بِالْخَمْسِ خَمْسِينَ
Translation
✧ The obligatory prayers were imposed on the Prophet ﷺ on the night he was taken on the night journey as fifty, then they were reduced to five. Then it was called out: "O Muhammad: 'The word in My presence is not changed,' and you have, for the five, fifty."
