Translation
✧ We were in the land of Persia, and fatigue and hardship befell us. Salman al-Farisi came to us and said, "Rejoice! Rejoice! There is no Muslim who stands guard in the way of God but it is like fasting a month and standing in prayer during it. Whoever dies while standing guard in the way of God, his deeds will continue for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he will be protected from the trial of the grave."
