✧ The funeral prayer for the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ صَاعِدٍ الْيَشْكُرِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:
إِذَا وُجِدَ بَدَنُ الْقَتِيلِ فِي دَارٍ أَوْ مَكَانٍ صُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ، وَعُقِلَ، وَإِذَا وُجِدَ رَأْسٌ أَوْ رِجْلٌ لَمْ يُصَلَّ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَمْ يُعْقَلْ ".
Translation
✧ If the body of a slain person is found in a house or a place, the funeral prayer is offered over it and blood-money is paid; but if a head or a leg is found, neither prayer is offered nor blood-money paid.
