✧ The funeral prayer for the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
كُنَّا حَمَلْنَا الْقَتْلَى يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ لِنَدْفِنَهُمْ، فَجَاءَ مُنَادِي النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: ادْفِنُوا الْقَتْلَى فِي مَصَارِعِهِمْ، فَرَدَدْنَاهُمْ
Translation
✧ We had carried the slain on the day of Uhud to bury them, when the caller of the Prophet ﷺ came and said: 'Bury the slain where they fell.' So we returned them.
