✧ The funeral prayer for the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ يَقُولُ:
يُصَلَّى عَلَى الشَّهِيدِ، وَلَا يُغَسَّلُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ طَيَّبَهُ
Translation
✧ The martyr is prayed over, but not washed, for Allah has already purified him.
