عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ: إِنَّ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ كَانَ يُفْتِي بِذَلِكَ. فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ: إِنَّ أُبَيًّا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ نَزَعَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ I said to Zayd b. Thabit, "Ubayy b. Ka'b used to give fatwa to that effect." Zayd said, "Ubayy retracted that before he died."
