✧ The funeral prayer for the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ:
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: هَؤُلَاءِ قَدْ مَضَوْا وَقَدْ شَهِدْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلُوا مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا، وَإِنَّكُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْ أُجُورِكُمْ، وَإِنَّكُمْ لَا أَدْرِي مَا تُحْدِثُونَ بَعْدِي
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said concerning the martyrs on the day of Uhud: 'These have passed on, and I have borne witness for them; they have not consumed anything of their rewards, while you consume from your rewards, and I do not know what you will introduce after me.'
