✧ One who asks for martyrdom

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ شَهَادَةً فِي سَبِيلِكَ فِي مَدِينَةِ رَسُولِكَ ﷺ
Translation
✧ O Allah, I ask You for martyrdom in Your path in the city of Your Messenger ﷺ.
