✧ The merit of jihad

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ كَعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ
Translation
✧ Whoever grows a gray hair in the path of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever shoots an arrow in the path of Allah, it is like the manumission of a slave.
