عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَجَرَةَ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُصَدِّقُ قَوْلَهُ فِعْلُهُ، وَكَانَ يَخْطُبُنَا فَيَقُولُ: " اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ، مَا أَحْسَنَ أَثَرَ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ، لَوْ تَرَوْنَ مَا أَرَى مِنْ أَخْضَرَ وَأَصْفَرَ، وَفِي الرِّحَالِ مَا فِيهَا " قَالَ: كَانَ يُقَالُ: " إِذَا صُفَّ النَّاسُ لِلْقِتَالِ أَوْ صَفُّوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، وَأَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَبْوَابُ النَّارِ، وَزُيِّنَ حُورُ الْعِينِ، فَاطَّلَعْنَ فَإِذَا هُوَ أَقْبَلَ قُلْنَ: اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْهُ، وَإِذَا هُوَ أَدْبَرَ احْتَجَبْنَ مِنْهُ، وَقُلْنَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، فَانْهَكُوا وُجُوهَ الْقَوْمِ، فِدًى لَكُمْ أَبِي وَأُمِّي، وَلَا تُخْزُوا الْحُورَ الْعِينَ، قَالَ: فَأَوَّلُ قَطْرَةٍ تَنْضَحُ مِنْ دَمِهِ يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ بِهِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَمِلَهُ، قَالَ: وَتَنْزِلُ إِلَيْهِ ثِنْتَانِ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ تَمْسَحَانِ التُّرَابَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ، وَتَقُولَانِ: قَدْ آنَ لَكَ، وَيَقُولُ هُوَ: قَدْ آنَ لَكُمَا، ثُمَّ يُكْسَى مِائَةَ حُلَّةٍ لَيْسَ مِنْ نَسْجِ بَنِي آدَمَ، وَلَكِنْ مِنْ نَبْتِ الْجَنَّةِ لَوْ وُضِعَتْ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ وَسِعَتْهُ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: أُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّ السُّيُوفَ مَفَاتِيحُ الْجَنَّةِ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ قِيلَ: يَا فُلَانُ هَذَا نُورُكَ، وَيَا فُلَانُ ابْنَ فُلَانٍ لَا نُورَ لَكَ
Translation
✧ His action confirmed his words. He used to address us and say: 'Remember God's blessing upon you, how good is the trace of God's blessing upon you. If you could see what I see of green and yellow, and in the saddles is what is in them.' He said: It used to be said: 'When the people are lined up for battle, or they form rows in prayer, the gates of heaven, the gates of Paradise, and the gates of Hell are opened, and the houris of wide beautiful eyes are adorned, and they look out. When he advances, they say: O God, grant him victory; and when he retreats, they hide from him and say: O God, forgive him. So strike hard at the faces of the enemy—may my father and mother be your ransom—and do not disgrace the houris of wide beautiful eyes.' He said: 'The first drop of his blood that is shed, God expiates by it every sin he has committed.' He said: 'Two houris of wide beautiful eyes descend to him, wipe the dust from his face, and say: It is time for you; and he says: It is time for you two. Then he is clothed in a hundred garments, not from the weaving of the children of Adam, but from the plants of Paradise; if they were placed between two fingers, they would fit.' He said: He used to say: 'I have been informed that swords are the keys of Paradise. On the Day of Resurrection, it will be said: O so-and-so, this is your light; and O so-and-so, son of so-and-so, no light for you.'
