عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ يَخَامِرَ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
مَا قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ إِلَّا وَجَبَتَ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ، وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً، فَإِنَّهُ يَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَغْزَرِ مَا كَانَتْ، لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ، وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ، وَمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ
Translation
✧ No Muslim man fights in the path of God for the interval between two milkings of a camel without Paradise becoming obligatory for him. Whoever asks God for death in battle sincerely from himself, then dies or is killed, has the reward of a martyr. Whoever is wounded in the path of God or receives a blow, it will come on the Day of Resurrection as profuse as it ever was, its color like saffron and its scent like musk. Whoever goes out in the path of God bears the seal of the martyrs.
