عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ
فِي قَوْلِهِ: ﴿إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا زَحْفًا ﴾حَتَّى ﴿وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ ﴾قَالَ: " يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ فِي يَوْمِ بَدْرٍ، أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّهُ يَقُولُ: ﴿وَمَنْ يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ ﴾

✧ Regarding His saying: "When you meet those who disbelieve, advancing [in battle]" until "and evil is the destination," he said: "They held that this was on the day of Badr. Do you not see that He says: 'And whoever turns his back to them that day'?"
