✧ Protection and the protection granted by a slave and a woman

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَهِيِّ:
أَنَّ زَيْنَبَ قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبَا الْعَاصِ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ إِنْ أُقْرِبَ فَابْنُ عَمٍّ، وَإِنْ أُبْعِدَ فَأَبُو وَلَدٍ، وَإِنِّي قَدْ أَجَرْتُهُ، " فَأَجَازَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ
Translation
✧ Zaynab said: 'O Messenger of God, if Abu al-As b. al-Rabi is brought near, he is a cousin; if he is kept far, he is the father of a child, and I have granted him protection.' The Prophet ﷺ ratified it.
