عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ.... قَالَ:

كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَمَرَرْنَا بِقَرْيَةِ نَمْلٍ قَدْ أُحْرِقَتْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِبَشَرٍ أَنْ يُعَذِّبَ بِعَذَابِ اللهِ

Translation

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ and passed by a village of ants that had been burned. The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is not fitting for a human to torture with the punishment of Allah."
