عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
لَا سَهْمَ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ إِلَّا لِفَرَسَيْنِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ أَلْفُ فَرَسٍ إِذَا دَخَلَ بِهَا أَرْضَ الْعَدُوِّ
Translation
✧ There is no share from the horses except for two horses, even if he has a thousand horses with him when he enters enemy territory.
