✧ Food taken in enemy territory

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُقَالُ: إِذَا كَانُوا بِأَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ أَكَلُوا، فَإِذَا قَدِمُوا بِهِ أَرْضَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ دَفَعُوهُ إِلَى الْإِمَامِ، وَلَا يَبِيعُوهُ فِي أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ، فَإِنْ بَاعُوهُ بِذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ فَفِيهِ الْخُمُسُ
Translation
✧ It used to be said: When they are in enemy territory, they eat; when they bring it to the land of the Muslims, they hand it over to the imam. They should not sell it in enemy territory. If they sell it for gold or silver, then the fifth is due on it.
