✧ A man goes to battle while his father disapproves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ:
قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ: مَنْ رَأَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَنْ أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَارْمُوهُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ، وَلَا تَسُلُّوا السُّيُوفَ حَتَّى يَغْشَوْكُمْ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said to us on the day of Badr: "Whoever sees the polytheists, if they come close to you, shoot them with arrows, and do not draw swords until they overwhelm you."
