✧ A man goes to battle while his father disapproves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ، فَقَالَ: " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ حَوْبَةٍ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَاجْلِسْ عِنْدَهَا
Translation
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I want to go on jihad. He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: Yes. He said: "Then stay with her."
