عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَدِيسِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
فَرِّقُوا عَنِ الْمَنِيَّةِ وَاجْعَلُوا الرَّأْسَ رَأْسَيْنِ، وَلَا تَلْبَثُوا بِدَارٍ مَعْجَزَةٍ، وَأَصْلِحُوا شَاوِيَكُمْ مَثَاوِيَكُمْ، وَأَخِيفُوا الْهَوَامَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُخِيفَكُمْ
Translation
✧ Scatter from death and make the head two heads. Do not tarry in a land of incapacity. Make your night shelters sound, and frighten the vermin before they frighten you.
