✧ ghouls and traveling by night

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا أَخْصَبْتُمْ فَأَمْكِنُوا الدَّوَابَّ أَسْنِمَتَهَا، وَلَا تَعْدُوا الْمَنَازِلَ، وَإِذَا أَجْدَبْتُمْ فَسِيرُوا، وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالدُّلْجَةِ، فَإِنَّ الْأَرْضَ تُطْوَى بِاللَّيْلِ، وَلَا تَنْزِلُوا عَلَى جَوَادِّ الطَّرِيقِ، فَإِنَّهَا مَأْوَى الْحَيَّاتِ وَالسِّبَاعِ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَقَضَاءَ الْحَاجَةِ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنَّهَا مِنَ الْمَلَاعِنِ، وَإِذَا تَغَوَّلَتِ الْغِيلَانُ لَكُمْ فَأَذِّنُوا
Translation
✧ When you find abundant pasture, let the animals reach their humps, and do not pass by the stopping places. When you find barren land, then travel, and upon you is the night journey, for the earth is folded up by night. Do not alight upon the main roads, for they are the abode of snakes and beasts of prey. Beware of relieving yourselves upon them, for they are among the places of cursing. When the ghouls appear to you, then call the adhan.
