عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
صَحِبْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَكَانَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ رَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ يَقُولُ: " سَمِعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ وَحُسْنِ بَلَائِهِ عَلَيْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ صَاحِبْنَا فَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا، عَائِذًا بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Translation
✧ I accompanied Ibn ʿUmar on a journey. When dawn broke, he would raise his voice and say: “Let a hearer hear with praise of God, His mercy, and His good favour upon us. O God, accompany us and bestow Your bounty upon us, seeking refuge with You from the Fire.”
