✧ The Believer Is More Sacred Than the House

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ مِينَاءَ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ:
إِنِّي لَأَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو بَعْدَ حَرِيقِ الْبَيْتِ، إِذْ قَالَ: أَيْ سَعِيدُ، أَعْظَمْتُمْ مَا صَنَعَ الْبَيْتُ ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَمَا أَعْظَمُ مِنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: " دَمُ الْمُسْلِمِ يُسْفَكُ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ
Translation
✧ I was circumambulating the House with Abd Allah b. Amr after the burning of the House, when he said: “O Sa’id, do you regard what the House has done as great?” He said: I said: “What is greater than it?” He said: “The blood of a Muslim that is shed without right.”
