✧ The Ruin of the House

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَغَيْرِهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ: "
كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ أُصَيْلِعَ أُفَيْدِعَ، قَدْ عَلَاهَا بِمِسْحَاتِهِ
Translation
✧ It is as if I am looking at him: a small-headed, small-eared man who has climbed it with his shovel.
