✧ Seeing the House

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: " حُدِّثْتُ
أَنَّهُ مَنْ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ تَعْظِيمًا لَهُ وَمَعْرِفَةً لِحَقِّهِ، كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ، وَمُحِيَ عَنْهُ بِهَا سَيِّئَةٌ، وَمَنْ جَاءَهُ زَائِرًا لَهُ، تَعْظِيمًا لَهُ، وَمَعْرِفَةً لَهُ، تَحَاتَّتْ ذُنُوبُهُ حِينَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ كَمَا يَتَحَاتُّ الْوَرَقُ عَنِ الشَّجَرِ ".
Translation
✧ Whoever looks at the House in veneration of it and in recognition of its right, a good deed is written for him thereby and an evil deed is erased from him thereby. And whoever comes to it as a visitor, venerating it and recognizing it, his sins fall away when he looks at it as leaves fall from a tree.
