عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِلْمُثَنَّى: إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ آتِيَ الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ: لَا تَفْعَلْ، سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً قَالَ: وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ. فَقَالَ لَهُ: طَوَافٌ سَبْعًا بِالْبَيْتِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ سَفَرِكَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ
Translation
✧ I said to al-Muthanna: "I want to go to Madinah." He said: "Do not do it. I heard Ata say—and a man asked him—he said to him: 'Circumambulating the House seven times is better than your journey to Madinah.'"
