✧ Zamzam and Its Mention

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازِ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ:
خَيْرُ وَادِيَيْنِ فِي النَّاسِ ذِي مَكَّةَ، وَوَادٍ فِي الْهِنْدِ هَبَطَ بِهِ آدَمُ ﷺ، فِيهِ هَذَا الطِّيبُ الَّذِي تَطَّيَّبُونَ بِهِ، وَشَرُّ وَادِيَيْنِ فِي النَّاسِ وَادِي الْأَحْقَافِ، وَوَادٍ بِحَضْرَمَوْتَ يُقَالُ لَهُ: بَرَهُوتُ، وَخَيْرُ بِئْرٍ فِي النَّاسِ زَمْزَمُ، وَشَرُّ بِئْرٍ فِي النَّاسِ بَلَهُوتُ، وَهِيَ بِئْرٌ فِي بَرَهُوتَ تَجْتَمِعُ فِيهِ أَرْوَاحُ الْكُفَّارِ
Translation
✧ The best of two valleys among people is the valley of Makkah, and a valley in India where Adam ﷺ descended, containing the perfume you use. The worst of two valleys among people is the valley of al-Ahqaf, and a valley in Hadramawt called Barhut. The best well among people is Zamzam, and the worst well among people is Balahut, a well in Barhut where the souls of disbelievers gather."
