عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْمُجَالِدِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:
لَمَّا فَرَغَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ مِنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِإِسْمَاعِيلَ: " ائْتِنِي بِحَجَرٍ أَجْعَلْهُ عَلَمًا يَهْتَدِي النَّاسُ مِنْهُ، فَأَتَاهُ بِحَجَرٍ فَلَمْ يَرْضَهُ " قَالَ: " اذْهَبْ فَائْتِنِي بِحَجَرٍ غَيْرِ هَذَا " قَالَ: " وَأُوتِيَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بِالْحَجَرِ الْأَسْوَدِ، فَأَتَى إِسْمَاعِيلُ بِالْحَجَرِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: قَدْ أَتَانِي بِهِ مَنْ لَمْ يَكِلْنِي إِلَى حَجَرِكَ
Translation
✧ When Abraham and Ishmael finished the foundations of the House, Abraham said to Ishmael: 'Bring me a stone to set as a marker by which people may be guided.' He brought him a stone, but he was not pleased with it. He said: 'Go and bring me a stone other than this.' He said: 'And Abraham was brought the Black Stone. Ishmael came with the stone, and Abraham said to him: "He who has not left me to your stone has brought it to me."
