عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ:
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ، مَرَّ بِامْرَأَةٍ مَجْذُومَةٍ وَهِيَ تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ لَهَا: " يَا أَمَةَ اللهِ، لَا تُؤْذِي النَّاسَ، لَوْ جَلَسْتِ فِي بَيْتِكِ " فَفَعَلَتْ فَمَرَّ بِهَا رَجُلٌ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الَّذِي كَانَ نَهَاكِ قَدْ مَاتَ فَاخْرُجِي فَقَالَتْ: مَا كُنْتُ لَأَنْ أُطِيعَهُ حَيًّا وَأَعْصِيَهُ مَيِّتًا
Translation
✧ 'Umar b. al-Khattab, may Allah have mercy on him, passed by a leprous woman while she was performing tawaf around the House. He said to her: "O slave woman of Allah, do not harm people. If only you would stay in your house." She did so. Then a man passed by her after that and said: "The one who forbade you has died, so come out." She said: "I would not obey him while he was alive and disobey him when he is dead."
