✧ Is Tawaf Better or Prayer, and Tawaf of the Leper

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ عَطَاءً يَسْأَلُهُ الْغُرَبَاءُ: الطَّوَافُ أَفْضَلُ لَنَا أَمِ الصَّلَاةُ ؟ فَيَقُولُ: " أَمَّا لَكُمْ فَالطَّوَافُ أَفْضَلُ، إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى الطَّوَافِ بِأَرْضِكُمْ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَقْدِرُونَ هُنَاكَ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ I used to hear strangers asking 'Ata': Is tawaf better for us or prayer? He would say: "As for you, tawaf is better, because you are not able to perform tawaf in your own land, but you are able to pray there."
