✧ Tawaf after Asr and Fajr

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى،
يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ " طَافَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ سَبْعًا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَاجًّا وَمُعْتَمِرًا، فَيَقُومُ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَيَطُوفُ سَبْعًا، وَيَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " فَقُلْنَا لَهُ: إِنَّمَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَجْلِ قُدُومِهِ حَتَّى أَقَامَ فِينَا، فَقَامَ حِينَ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ، فَطَافَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ فَأَصْعَدَ. يَقُولُ: خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ
Translation
✧ He mentions that he saw Ibn 'Abbas on the Day of Tarwiyah "perform tawaf after 'Asr seven circuits, then pray two rak'ahs, as both a pilgrim (hajj) and one performing 'umrah. Then he would stand after the Fajr prayer and perform tawaf seven circuits, and pray two rak'ahs." We said to him: "He only does that because of his arrival, until he stayed among us." Then he stood when he prayed Fajr, performed tawaf, then prayed two rak'ahs, then touched the corner and ascended. He (the narrator) says: he left the mosque.
