machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: A man has a water skin with just a little water while travelling; he becomes junub, or the prayer time comes while he is not in a state of ablution, and he fears that if he purifies himself with what is in the water skin he will suffer thirst. He said: God has the best excuse; he should use dust.
