عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: "
إِنَّمَا جَعَلَ اللهُ الطَّوَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَرَمْيَ الْجِمَارِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِكْرِ اللهِ تَعَالَى " قَالَ: " فَاتَّبَعَهُ رَجُلٌ لِيَسْمَعَ مَا يَقُولُ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يَقُولُ: ﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ﴾حَتَّى فَرَغَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ: أَصْلَحَكَ اللهُ، اتَّبَعْتُكَ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْكَ تَزِيدُ عَلَى كَذَا وَكَذَا لِقَوْلِهِ هَذَا، قَالَ: أَوَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ كُلَّ الْخَيْرِ ؟ قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: فَمَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَلْيَدَعِ الْحَدِيثَ، وَلْيَذْكُرِ اللهَ إِلَّا حَدِيثًا لَيْسَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ، وَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ يَدَعَ الْحَدِيثَ كُلَّهُ إِلَّا ذِكْرَ اللهِ وَالْقُرْآنَ
Translation
✧ Allah appointed circumambulation of the House, between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and the casting of pebbles for the establishment of the remembrance of Allah, Exalted is He. A man followed him to hear what he said, and he was saying: 'Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,' until he finished. The man said to him: 'May Allah set you aright, I followed you and did not hear you add anything beyond such and such,' referring to this statement. He said: 'Is that not all good?' Ata said: 'So whoever circumambulates the House should refrain from idle talk and remember Allah, except for talk in which there is no harm. I prefer that he abandon all talk except the remembrance of Allah and the Quran.'
