✧ He performs tayammum then passes by water: does he make ablution, and does he perform tayammum for voluntary prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ: هَلْ يَتَيَمَّمُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ الْمَاءَ فَيُصَلِّي تَطَوُّعًا ؟ قَالَ: لَا
Translation
✧ I asked al-Zuhrī: Should a man perform tayammum if he does not find water, and then offer voluntary prayer? He said: No.
