✧ Touching Outside of Circumambulation, and Whether One May Touch Without Being in a State of Ablution

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ:
أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَرَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَسْتَلِمُ الْغَرْبِيَّيْنِ قَالَ: وَلَكِنَّهُ لَا يَكَادُ أَنْ يُجَاوِزَ الشَّرْقِيَّيْنِ ".
Translation
✧ That he did not see Ibn Umar touch the two western corners, but he would hardly pass the two eastern ones without touching them.”
