عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: وَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ:
حَذَّرَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ قُرَيْشًا، وَكَانَ بِهَا ثَلَاثَةُ أَحْيَاءٍ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ فَهَلَكُوا: لَأَنْ أُخْطِئَ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ خَطِيئَةً بِرُكْبَةَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُخْطِئَ خَطِيئَةً وَاحِدَةً إِلَى رُكْنِهَا
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab warned Quraysh, and there were in it three Arab tribes, and they perished: That I commit twelve errors at Rukbah is dearer to me than that I commit a single error at its corner.
