عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُجَاهِدًا يَقُولُ:
رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ بِعَرَفَةَ، وَمَنْزِلُهُ فِي الْحِلِّ، وَمُصَلَّاهُ فِي الْحَرَمِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: لِمَ تَفْعَلُ هَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ: " لِأَنَّ الْعَمَلَ فِيهِ أَفْضَلُ، وَالْخَطِيئَةَ أَعْظَمُ فِيهِ
Translation
✧ I saw Abd Allah b. Amr b. al-As at Arafah, and his dwelling was in the hill and his prayer-place was in the Haram. It was said to him: Why do you do this? He said: "Because the deed in it is more excellent, and the error is greater in it."
