عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ فِطْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ: " قَالَ لِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ:
أَقِمْ بِهَذِهِ الْأَرْضِ يَعْنِي بِمَكَّةَ، وَإِنْ أَكَلْتَ الْعِضَاهَ أَوْ وَرَقَ الشَّجَرِ
Translation
✧ Stay in this land—meaning Makkah—even if you eat bitter shrubs or tree leaves.
