Translation
✧ I heard Ibn Abd al-Aziz, while he was governor of Madinah, asking his companions, “What have you heard about residing in Makkah?” Al-Sa'ib b. Yazid said to him, “Al-Ala' b. al-Hadrami said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘The stay of the emigrant after completing his rites is three days.’”
