✧ The Virtue of Hajj

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ،
أَيُّ الْحَاجِّ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَطْعَمَ الطَّعَامَ، وَكَفَّ لِسَانَهُ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْنَا أَنَّهُ مِنْ بِرِّ الْحَجِّ.
Translation
✧ Which pilgrim is best? He said: “One who feeds food and restrains his tongue.” He said: “And al-Thawri reported to us: We heard that it is part of the righteousness of Hajj.”
